Ο Γιωργος Σκορδιλης ξεκινησε το μουσικο του ταξιδι ακριβως στις αρχες της δεκαετιας ’80 στην Κερκυρα. Εκει δημιουργησε το μουσικο οχημα "Split Image", με το οποιο ταξιδεψε στους δρομους του New Wave και της Πειραματικης Μουσικης . Το 1982 εγκατασταθηκε στην Αθηνα οπου εκτος απο τις σπουδες του (Ψυχολογια,Μουσικη) , εκανε και παρα πολλες εμφανισεις με το σχημα S .I. στα clubs της εποχης. Υπηρξαν κατα καιρους αρκετες δισκογραφικες προτασεις, χωρις ομως καμμια να καρποφορησει. Απο το 1988 δημιουργησε το σχημα «Sound Machine» , με το οποιο εμφανιζονταν ως επι το πλειστον στην Κερκυρα , τα καλοκαιρια ,με διασκευες γνωστων κομματιων σε clubs και ξενοδοχεια. Απο το 1992 ξεκινησε εμφανισεις χρησιμοποιωντας το ονομα του σε ροκ clubs της Αθηνας , με ρεπερτοριο ροκ επιλογες ολων των δεκαετιων. Απο τοτε μεχρι σημερα εχει παιξει σε ολα σχεδον τα γνωστα «ροκ» μαγαζια και εχει χαρακτηρισθει απο το πλουσιο ρεπερτοριο , τον καλο του ηχο και την αγαπη του γι’ αυτο που κανει. Στα εγγυς σχεδια του ειναι η κυκλοφορια ενος αλμπουμ και ζωντανες εμφανισεις με το σχημα "Split Image" το οποιο επανασυσταθηκε το 2007.

George Scordilis began his musical journey at the beginning of the 1980s in Corfu, his home town. There he created the band “Split Image”, with which he explored the paths of new Wave and what was at the time considered experimental music. In 1982 he settled in Athens where, apart from his studies, (Music, Psychology), he also gave live shows together with the band at many of the clubs of that time. From time to time there were many recording opportunities, without, however, any coming to fruition. In 1988 he formed the new band, “Sound Machine”, with which he appeared mainly in Corfu during the summer seasons, playing mainly covers at clubs and hotels. In 1992 he began playing under his own name in the rock clubs and bars of Athens, with a repertoire which comprised of rock songs from the birth of rock until now. Since then and continuing today he has appeared at nearly all the known rock clubs, and is known for his rich repertoire, his quality sound, and his professionalism as well as his love for his music. Plans for the near future include the release of a CD of original work and live shows , with the band “Split Image”.
